The university for digital and non-digital creative talents

The “SantaGiulia” Fine Arts Academy is part of the public educational system of “Alta Formazione Artistica, Musicale e Coreutica” (AFAM) [Advanced Artistic, Musical and Choral Studies] under the Ministry of Universities and Research (MUR). It was one of the first Italian Academies to apply Ministerial Decree no. 89 of 03/07/2009 and M.D. no. 123 of 30/09/09, which radically restructured the educational systems of both public and officially recognized Academies.

“SantaGiulia” Academy is the University that puts the students’ career opportunities first and aims to meld traditional artistic skills with development of new digital technologies with courses in Graphics, Web Design, New Technologies of Art, Digital Animation, and so on.

“SantaGiulia” Academy is animated by an intense interaction with the professional world and supports its motivated students’ initiatives, so that they will be able to manage the responsibilities required by the new creative professions resulting from the development of digital innovations. Visual communication is one of the focal points of the educational offer and it focuses on private businesses with the aim of selling and promoting products and services. Design and planning of locations and multifunctional spaces is another key feature of the didactic proposal.
